Dumbest moments in a novela ever. . . (spoiler)

Wow - I make tounge-in-cheek jokes about unrealistic things that happen in this and other novelas, but last nights episode had my head ready to explode. Who, in the name of all that is good, videotaped Demetrio killing Patricia? The camera was panning here and there, to and fro. . . it was in the closet with him hiding and then outside the closet. Didn't Maria see the camera floating around as the ghostly videographer worked the angles? And, forgive me, but Demtrio is really not the most attractive man and makes a very disturbing woman (I had nightmares.) He/She's strolling around and NO ONE is looking at him twice? He was mistaken for Daniela? If I was that actress I would sue . . . Wow, was last night's episode bad. . .

I had nightmares too... about that thing he was doing with the hoodie, the little Satan statues and the candles... eeeeeeek !!!

Did you understand that? What was that all about?

What did he have in that trunk? At least one thing looked like a little Voodoo doll.... eeeeeeek again !

LOL... I know.. nobody noticed how creepy he looked out shopping.

Did Fabiola know it was him or did she think she saw Daniella?? I had the idea he thought she might recognize him so decided to Strangle her.. but he was foiled by the appearance of Leonel.
Did you understand this the same as me?

I understood it the same way. I think they're editing the novela down for some reason in the US because there seem to be unnatural leaps in the story. I wonder if more was originally explained about what Deme was doing in the hotel room with the candles - I'd at least like to know who the doll was. . . it looked like a cross between voodoo and Satan worshiping! And I was starting to like him - poor Angel. His dad is a ffffrreeeaakkkkk.

I agree.. that was just toooooo unbelievable.. it was like she could see shadows and kept chasing a person she could not see all the time calling out "Tia!" There was no reason to believe that Ana Rosa would go running after an aunt who would not answer in a dark labyrinth ! There is no reason to believe that Daniella would wish to meet Ana Rosa in such a place...most women would be too terrified to wander there in the dark!

I could not understand how Ana Rosa learned of this tape and it's location. Remember when she found a gun in Demetrio's desk drawer... what was she looking for back then ??

I had not considered the idea that parts are being cut...maybe that is what's wrong.

I don't know who the doll represented but that is a good thought. We can hope it's Alba! One more pin and poof she may be gone !! That trunk Deme had was too strange.... he actually took it to Aruba with him... he must be really attached to it ! I suspect those weird rituals are part of his regular routine.

I do feel badly for Angelito....when he learns all this about his birth father it will surely disturb him even more. Thank goodness he at least knows Carmella is his mother... imagine having Alba and Demetrio as parents... that could send him to the psych ward for a long time ! Aaaaargh !

Oh dear! I missed something this hysterical? OK.. please tell me the details of last night! Did they all come back from Aruba to go to the roof??? Did Alba jump or did she fly off ??? I have to know !!

No, not the dumbest moment in a novela ever, although pretty dumb.

The DUMBEST moment in a novela ever was in O Bem Amado (1973): One
of the characters has a dream throughout the novela of flying. He constructs
wings made with paper, goes on top of the roof of the church, jumps...AND
ACTUALLY FLIES! This was the most stupid scene I have ever seen in
any soap, Brazilian, Mexican or Venezuelan. So Alba's jump was small
potatoes compared to that one!

LOL. At first, the foam in Rebecca's mouth looked too fake. but when it started to turn red from blood, I was getting nauseated.

Laughing hysterically here... "Te amo, Esteban".... Adios... wheeeeeee.....
I am sure he is heartbroken to learn she has loved him so much she would die for him.... as he faces the grim reaper due to her false testimony. She did not show remorse for her hate so it's not too sad to see her go. I would have preferred she go to jail.... it would have been a far superior fate for a character like her.
Oh... thanks for the great update too!!!
