Now this doesn't apply to everyone who has posted on this movie but those who have and have said stuff bad about this movie should be ashamed of themselves. That is just down right disrespectful. This was the last movie Christopher Reeve did before he passed, and to show such disrespect to one of the greatest actor's who has ever lived, who put one of his last dying breathes to direct this film for young kids is just so childish & immature. Why don't you go bash on a director that deserves to be bashed on like Uwe Boll or Chris Stokes. My final words on this topic is, you should be ashamed of yourselves. *Shakes head*

I haven't seen the movie and think the comments above made were plainly stupid!
Seriousbowler obviously thinks that because Mr.Reeve died while making it everyone should like it or at least not give a bad review.

I quite liked Resident Evil..... and I'm sure I will enjoy this when I watch it with my kids, I have never met anyone who likes everything I do but I don't condemn them for using their right to say they don't like something!

Respect? Sure. But Christopher Reeves sure as hell was not one of the finest actors to have ever lived, seriously. Possibly the exact opposite really. And if this movie sucks, it sucks. Just because somebody died during production doesn't give any extra merit don't you think?

sorry but im not going to start rating a movie on whos in it thats just plain stupid i rate the movie on whether i liked it or not simple as that

I personally haven't seen it, so I wouldn't know if it is bad or good, but I think a good reviewer should give both good and bad points of the movie even if they think the movie is crap. That way the director if he were going to read the review, would know what he did well and what he could improve on.

Just because Christopher Reeves died while making it this movie is above criticism? How was he "one of the greatest actor's who has ever lived" anyway? If on his last days he went on live television leapt out of his chair and yelled "Gotcha!" then I'd admit he was a great actor but otherwise I call *beep*

I don't understand why my prior post was deleted. All I said was, just because Christopher Reeve died is no reason for anyone to have to like this movie. And Superman sucked too.

I agree with what most of you posted here, and completely disagree with the original poster.

Okay, here's a story:

MMK SO UNCE UPON A TIM DERE WAS DIS GUY AND HE FARTED LOL!!!!!!! ND DEN HIS MOM WAS LIK, "gUY! DON'T DO DAT IN DA HOOOSE!" ND SHE SAID HOOSE CUZ SHE WAS CANADIAN ROFL!!!!!!1111 ND HE WAS LIK "MLEEEEEH!I HATE JOOO!" ND THEN HE DID HIS GRRLFREND OMG ROFL!!

So, I wrote this story. And then, I died because I choked on the mouse (why was the mouse in my mouth? Good question.) Does that make my story critically aclaimed? Would Oprah put it on her booklist? Would people base a religon off it's greatness?!

Its not shameful not to like this movie just because the director is dead,
