When you first saw it...

During the first couple minutes in this movie, did anybody else think it was modern time and then realize as the movie progressed that it was set in the 30s? When all the previews came out for it, they made it look modern, and even when we first saw the movie, it still looked modern, only after Yankee headed for home I realized it was set for a long time ago.

Glad to know I'm not alone. But to tell you the truth I kind of like it when movies are set for an era a long time ago but you don't know it at first.
