Our culture is 'Jackass', not this.
Sadly, this is because the few who run Hollywood have lifestyles that reflect 'Jackass' than noble entertainment. Our entire culture has been deciminated by those who run Hollywood.

Well, my culture is this. I choose not to encourage such trash as the other movie (if you can call it that) that was mentioned. I do not promote that junk and I do not want my children watching it. So I believe if my children can't watch it neither should I. This way I get to enjoy everything my kids enjoy. Everyone should be so blessed. If you don't like the way things are going change your direction.

No, what you mean is "So if i cant watch it then my children cant either"
Not "So if my children cant see it, then i cant either" and your kids get to enjoy everything you enjoy, and not the other way around.
I watched the Jackass movies with my kids. It looked funny like the TV show. The problem is, its appeal lasts about 40 minutes, whether to 40 year old guys or 10 year old guys.
In other words, if your kids or you can watch the Jackass movies for longer than 30-40 minutes, you're really pathetic...
My son loved this movie. So did I. His dad took him for a second time and they both enjoyed it. I thought the movie had charm, spunk, and heart. Thoroughly enjoyable and worth purchasing on DVD.
It's one of those movies that I use as a common divider. Families with kids who think it's a waste of time or boring are probably families I don't want my kids hanging out with anyway. Shrek fans are what I call middlers. It depends on the rest of their tastes.
Some people who like this movie say "What a shame that people today don't enjoy this kind of entertainment." But, think about it. There have always been people who prefer vulgar, coarse, trash. That's nothing new. Just pay attention and avoid them if you aren't one of them.
"My son loved this movie. So did I. His dad took him..."
How many dads does your son have?

errr, have you thought that its the mother who wrote that.
Hahahahahah I hang around Punk and Metal Music Boards...
Its funny that some "outsider" (like a Jackass lover or counter=culture fan), would come to a movie page geared for kids and families ... and complain...
lol
Very good.
I think there are a lot of not too bright people on this site.

Your mother must be so proud.
Great way to concentrate on the topic.
Wow, the people that sicken me are people that can't even enjoy a family movie without any swearing, violence, nudity, etc. I mean come on, how can you not prefer a good old family movie compared to the filth that jack*** is.
Trample the weak, Hurdle the dead!

LOL!!
...and what the hell was up with that ending? Sheesh!
Thank you arizonamovielover, I agree with you 200%, I hate the shows that are one TV, such as Nip Tuck, Desperate Housewives, Sex in the city, Dirt, etc etc. I miss stories like this one. I never got to actually see the whole film, I will see it with my two year old nephew, he loves Superman like I do and I will tell him it was made by the Superman of my time.
shareThis movie was great. The thing that's nice about movies like Shrek is they have comedy that goes over kid's heads, and is funny to the parents. I really liked the Shrek movies and I can't wait to take my daughter to see the third. As for Everyone's Hero, I liked it because the story was fun. I was really surprised my four year old like it, but she was really into it. Kids are going to like what they like. If you don't introduce them to stuff you don't want them to see, they might have less of an interest in it. At least that's what I hope for!
