Robin Williams - uncredited?

Robin Williams was great as Mr. Cross. Why was he uncredited???

I was thinking the same thing, or if it truly was Robin Williams. When my gf and I were watching it last night, I said "hey, that's Robin Williams" but then felt empty when his name wasn't credited or if I was just hearing things

I knew it was him! I kept hearing his voice, and I kept thinking, "It sounds a lot like Williams doing a 'SNL Chicago Bears' voice." I love this guy!

I'm 99% sure it is Robin Williams. I think he did it uncredited* for his old fiend Christopher Reeve -- they had been friends since college, I believe.
In hindsight, I think the movie would have done better with his name attached.
I just found it last week on DVD (our family had seen it at the theater and loved it) and had not seen any advertising for the DVD at all.

*I heard a story that he felt burned by Disney when he did the voice of the genie for Aladdin and requested that they not heavily promote his name. When the role of the genie was enlarged (because Robin ad-libbed so much and so well) that Disney promoted it as a Robin Williams vehicle. The story can probably be found at a Disney site or at Snopes.com

I was watching this movie with my cousin and we were thinking the same thing. I also wonder why he wasn't listed. He was great.

I watched this movie last night and then again, this morning. I knew that was Robin Williams, and I was annoyed when I realized that he was uncredited.
