Will someone please tell me what happened in the ending after Lai Fu got beaten up in Dan Dan's apartment? I recorded only 120 minutes of the movie on TV and hadn't anticipated that, with commercials, the running time would be 125 minutes.

Dan Dan's pimp rapes her in another room, and after that he and his gang leaves....Lai Fu then stumbles after them and retrieves the gun in the dumpster that he threw away earlier...the group of cops that are eating in the nearby restaurant notices the comotion and the young cop...um..whats his name...Ben or whatever sees that Lai Fu has a gun in his hand and confronts him...he goes for his own gun but realizes his holster is empty...and gets shot in the throat by Lai Fu...
Lai Fu takes off and is chased by the two cops (i forgot their names)...and is shot in the back of the head by one of them...
And finally in the end, Dan Dan tries to leave via the airport but seems to be detained after the custom guys realize shes over stayed...she looks in her bag and sees the cash that Lai Fu dropped in there for her and the movie ends there.
That wasn't Dan Dan's pimp, it was just some ruffian customer. The dude who owned the apartment who wore glasses was her pimp/boss.
shareWould'nt Dan Dan be in trouble for having all that money in her bag while outstaying her visa? They would search her and find the money wouldnt they? Would she lose it and possibly have a fine, make it through or face jail time?
