Current 93

"The trailer for the film has narration by David Tibet. The film itself has music from two tracks by C93, 'A Beginning' (from Thunder Perfect Mind) and 'A Soft Voice Whispers Nothing' (from C93/Thomas Ligotti collaboration IN A FOREIGN TOWN, IN A FOREIGN LAND), and one song by Pantaleimon, 'Crater Full of Goldfish' (from TREES HOLD TIME). Andria Degens of Pantaleimon also contributes a voiceover in the film."

I've wondered what major film would use Current 93 in the soundtrack first and this is it.

This Movie is going to have the best soundtrack.
If you check out the the myspace page, it lists a bunch of amazing artists.
And on the website, there is a pretty cool video for this beautiful song that sounds freakishly like Cat Power.

It was about time that Tibet's singular voice was used in a film. I'm a student of cinema and having Tibet as a narrator has been one of my dreams, this alone is a good sign that this film is going to be very good since David doesn't work with just anyone, he is great at joining forces with other great artists.

have you heard his narration on the song the six stations by six organs of admittance?

From executive producer Gus Van Sant ('Elephant', 'Good Will Hunting', 'Drugstore Cowboy'), Wild Tigers I Have Known is a fearless portrait of the horror that is junior high school. The film is familiar to anyone who remembers junior high as a time of painful desire, confusion, adolescent longing and curiosity. The well-crafted story, beautifully photographed, draws us back into this moody world of teenage isolation, a world that, perhaps mistakenly, we think we moved past long ago."
