Natasha's Character's Name in this Movie

I haven't seen the movie "Why I wore Lipstick to my Masectomy" yet but it's interesting that Natasha's character in it and this movie, "Widow on the Hill" have the same name (Linda Cavanaugh).

reply

Are they the same person?

reply

I don't think so. She plays a money grubbing murderer in Widow on the Hill, and I can't imagine the same character appears in the masectomy movie. Does anyone else know???

reply

Probably an erroneous entry for that other movie. I have just deleted it, we'll see what happens.

You mean you can just go into a cast list and delete someone? What if you're wrong? Not necessarily in this case, but that seems chaotic if people can just go and tamper with the list.

Maybe I misunderstood you?

Well, the deletion went through ... which means it made sense.

> What if you're wrong?

Most probably not :) If so, someone will come along and re-submit the role, but AFAIR this never happened as I'm just deleting entries that I'm pretty sure about that they are wrong – otherwise I'm adding an attribute (unconfirmed) only.

> Not necessarily in this case, but that seems chaotic if people can just go and tamper with the list.

Actually there is kind of an internal rating system for submitters (don't ask how it works, I don't know) so the list managers happen to see that I have been an experienced top XXX submitter for the last couple of years and therefore trust into my submissions more than into those of any "people" I guess.

> Maybe I misunderstood you?

I don't know :)

I understand what you're saying, but it's still not a good system to leave the lists vulnerable to any and all. This leaves a lot of room for mischief, and let's face it, even you had a first time with no trust built.

A better way would be a method to submit an alert to the monitors and tell them something is wrong or omitted.

reply

First, as I mentioned before, it is not said that random deletions of "any and all" are blindly accepted by the list managers, and second, the alert you are suggesting would just be another shape for the same procedure.

[EDIT] BTW, if I'm not 100% sure myself I usually set the respective credit to (unconfirmed) first, and only if this status remains for a long time proceed with a final deletion.

I was close friends with Linda Dupree thru elementary school, jr high and into high school. She ended up marrying (then divorcing) Kevin Nealon. At first, I wondered if this was going to be based on her life!!!

And you are telling me this because ...?

It's not erroneous entry for the other movie. In Widow she was Linda Dupree and married Hank Cavanaugh thus becoming Linda Cavanaugh. You ought to check things out before you delete them.

And you know that, because ...?

WTH has that (incoherent) fact of "Widow on the Hill" to do with Natasha Henstridge's alleged appearance in "Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy"?!??

> You ought to check things out before you delete them.

Oh, I'm so sorry, I forgot that I have Google configured as my start page for some reason

Of course I checked this before deleting her – I even asked here in advance, duh!

Result: 0 (ZERO!) hints that Natasha Henstridge actually took part in WIWLtMM (not to speak of appearing with the same character name as in WotH), as opposed to Sarah Chalke ... whom some dumb moron might have mixed up with Natasha
