Older Scipio
In the book, Scipio's about 12 or 13 and when he gets off the merry-go-round he's around 25. The Scipio in the movie looked about 14 or 15 but all the same, I thought they would just get someone older to play the post merry-go-round Scipio. Actually, I think I would have preferred this b/c I was a little surprised when they just tried to make him look older. I mean, they did a pretty good job of it, but I think it would have been better to just get another actor altogether for the older Scipio. (Also, in the book, it said that he was the spitting image of his father so that even Barborosso mistook him for the senior Massimo. Of course, the script was greatly changed in the book so that this part wasn't even in the movie but still you get my point.) I don't know, what do you think? Should they have gotten another actor to play the older Scipio or was the make-up, etc enough?
