If your looking for the Korean movie this is not it.
Do a search on IMDB for Janghwa, Hongryeon that's the one you want.

Does this mean that the inevitable US remake of Janghwa, Hongryeon will require a title other than 'A Tale of Two Sisters'?
A small victory for us foreign cinema types, and Charlie Sheen, but I don't imagine such technicalities will get in their way too heavily.
Shame.

Why do they have to pretentiously use the Korean name? We all know it as A Tale of Two Sisters. Why make it difficult to find?

They didn't use the Korean name, the Korean name is Janghwa, Hongryeon. It's not difficult to find the Korean movie on here, all you have to do is type in A Tale of Two Sisters in the search box and click on go. It will take you to a screen with the matches.
http://www.imdb.com/find?q=A%20Tale%20of%20Two%20Sisters;s=all

They will be listed like this:

1. Janghwa, Hongryeon (2003)
aka "A Tale of Two Sisters" - (English title)
2. A Tale of Two Sisters (2004)

Titles (Approx Matches) (Displaying 18 Results)

1. Tale of Two Sisters (1989)

The Korean movie is the first one listed and it has the English title underneath. How could it be hard to find when it's right there on top?

I dont have time to read the parts that aren't highlighted! ;-)

Then you probably don't have time to see the movie either so it really doesn't matter.

The original was Janghwa Heungryeonjeon (1956), there was also one in 1972. Janghwa, Hongryeon is the second remake.
