What is meant by "It'll Keep"? [SPOILERS]

At the end of the movie the last line is "It'll keep." What does the character Kate mean by that?

It'll Keep is what Americans say when they were going to say something but realise it might not be the best time, so it'll keep for another day.

In my opinion, she decided to wait and see how things panned out with Matt and take things slowly. She didn't want to tell him she was pregnant and have him stay with her out of duty, but wanted him to be with her out of love for her. So she let it go, as she could see he'd decided that he had to live life and had, in some way, come to some small measure of peace with what had happened to Suzanne and the baby.

I would say, judging by the final picture, that eventually things worked out!
