Absolutely Beautiful.....

It was such an amazingly beautiful movie. Sarah Polley deserves so so many accolades for this performance. Brilliantly done and very emotionally fulfilling. Much better than 'My Life Without Me.' 10/10.

Yes, I agree, it is.
Robbins pulled off performance of his career - boy, it brought me down to tears...
I'm glad that someone has shown how important words are, that the words holds true connection between the two. (And always will.) And how lonely we are without courage to speak words that truly mean something to someone who speaks them. And Hanna finds this courage within herself and there's so much hope in it. Humanity tends to think that actions are important, that the words doesn't matter. Well, maybe they we'll see someday..

This is an unusual and beautiful film. Tim Robbins and Sarah Polley both did career-best work. And as a director, Isabel Coixet keeps getting better.

I think the the movie title might come from the fact that both main characters use a set of words that, literally, mean one thing, but as we figure trough the movie, they mean something else.

SPOILER The "swim" thing with Josef and the hotel story with Hannah and the real meaning of these stories.

I agree. This movie is simply put a Masterpiece. Its one of the best movies I´ve ever seen. I´ve seen it day before yesterday and still can´t get it out of my mind. I walk like in dreams, thinking about it. Very few movies made such and impact on me. Tim and Sarah and all the rest were amazing.

I agree with you. I chose it by the remotest chance, and feel that it will be watched many times. Amazing performances by two extremely talented actors.

This film has stayed with me.. I cannot forget it.. despite the historical of which some have complained, the story itself is a compelling one, and I truly enjoyed it.

I cried, and I hardly ever cry lately, what with my ADHD meds and benzos. What makes it particularly funny is that there is only one movie I can watch EVERYTIME and still cry at the end... and that's another of Tim Robbins's films... The Shawshank Redemption, of course! Anyway Robbins is now single again and since he always plays sensitive parts so believably... I'm on the stakeout! ;D

Look at how happy you are, so carefree. It's almost as if you don't know you're Billy Bush!-Triumph
