Anyone know what novel is the basis for this movie

Just wondering if anyone knows what novel forms the basis for this movie. I can't get a copy of the movie but I seem to remember it was "The Prince" or something. Can anyone give me a link to the book somewhere where I can buy the book, preferably in English?Thanks much.

"The Prince" by Tudor Teodorescu-Braniste, a Romanian novelist; the original title of the book being "Printul". It is available in Romanian shops, however mostly in the Romanian language version.
