Samus' Festive Suit???

I went on IGN's website and a cheat that someone submitted was the "Festive Suit." I'm just questioning the credibility of this cheat because I've tried it and it didn't work. I was wondering if anybody else had this cheat to work?*

*I'm just curious about this cheat because I rented the game and I have to return it tomorrow night. BTW, Metroid Prime 2 is a great game; gets kinda tedious though.
