JENNIFER HALE?!

Is it true that Jennifer Hale does the voice of Samus in this? So far I haven't heard her speak(so I wouldn't know), but I hope this isn't true. I *****ng hate Jennifer Hale's voices because they're always so damn boring and alike and I would hate it if she did the voice of a character I like such as Samus.

I don't think she speaks, as such, rather, I think Jennifer Hale may be responsible for the series of grunts, moans and screams we hear Samus make as she jumps or gets injured. Any dialogue (and I don't think there is any from Samus herself) is conveyed through on-screen text.

So you need not worry about Jennifer Hale's voice annoying you. Personally, I don't mind her.

Samus has never spoken in any of the games... except Metroid Fusion. In Metroid Fusion, she speaks... but it's all text. Anyway, in the Metroid Prime games, it's a different story. There's no spoken dialogue in the game for Samus. However, we do hear her voice in the from her reactions to attacks, falls and she even screams when she dies after losing all of her energy. I guess in this case, Nintendo thought it best to keep her silent.

Don't diss her, SSJAniFan! I loved her voice as Sheena in "Tales of Symphonia"! She really captured that tomboyish quality that Sheena has beautifully. Besides, in the "Metroid Prime" games, it's just her grunting in pain or that bloodcurdling scream when Samus dies. It's not that big a deal.

I refuse to engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed person!

SSJAniFan, I can see where you are coming from about Hale. It seems to me that a lot of voice actors do half assed jobs and have only 4 voices at max, not all actors but quite a few. I beleive that the expectations for voice actors have significantly dropped. So I'm with ya, I mean, I like Hale, but I understand.
