A few things...
Scary Movie 1 & 2 were the best of the Scary Movie series...before Zucker ruined them with 3 & 4. And now Hollywood is fluttered with rehashed parody with the title "Movie" in them. Poor Wayans. They created a monster.
Keenen has done a few movies. While Little Man is his worst in my opinion, he has done pretty well with his other projects. I'm Gonna Get You Sucka, Low Down Dirty Shame, Don't Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood, White Chicks, and Scary Movie 1 & 2. These were good movies. And they brought in a good amount of cash.
Kim has only been in from what I've seen, projects with her brothers. She's cool with that. Aside from Juwanna Man, she only works with her brothers
Shawn used to DJ and star in In Living Color. Aside from writing and starring in roles with his brothers, that's about all he does (or wants to do).
Marlon wrote for and was in just about every Wayans Bros project. And has starred in a few roles himself. Dungeons and Dragons was his worst! But in Lady Killers, GI Joe (which banked a lot of money), and his best role to date (again in my opinion) Requiem For A Dream, he did a VERY good job. He is also going to play Richard Pryor in the upcoming bio pic of the same name. Marlon looks like he has a bright future ahead of him.
Damon has done the most projects out off all of them. Bulletproof with Adam Sandler, Major Payne, Mo Money, Blankman, Waynehead, the Spike Lee flick Bamboozled, and My Wife and Kids. He also help create the short lived show on Showtime...The Underground. Once again, all good flicks.
And finally we have a new member of the family to add to the line up. Damien Damon's son) was in the Underground with his father, played a few roles on My Wife And Kids, and he starred and directed Dance Flick. His career has just started.
It's a family business. And a business that has helped make a decent name for themselves as well as help them provide for the BIG family. I grew up on the Wayans, and they have yet to disappoint me.
Well...except for Little Man (and Dance Flick had some funny moments. If it was rated R like their other parodies, I might have liked it more), I love the Wayans. I hope they keep making movies. I also hope they start making raunchy parodies again like when I was growing up.
And please...bring the Wayans Bros TV series to DVD!!! ALL OF THEM!
