Please say there's a UK release date

I'm a bowling fan and I would LOVE to see this film. So, please can someone say this is goning to be released in the UK, either in movie theatres OR DVD.

Thanks.

Can't answer your question...but I can tell you that I just got back from seeing the film here in Norfolk, VA...and if you have to wait for the DVD release, you won't be missing much at the cinema. It's not a particularly good film, not really accomplishing much in terms of focus or inspiring anything or leaving a lasting impression. It took a difficult subject -how do you revive a pro sport whose viewer base mainly consists of participants when the activity itself has been in decline?- and actually didn't do anything with it. It doesn't really examine how the PBA owners actually changed anything, nor did it deal with elements of the professional game that have so obviously been changed. (Such as micing the players, changing the fan seating from being stricttly *behind* the bowlers, lighting the fans, etc.) The focus it chose, four bowlers and the President of the Association, simply didn't have enough going for it to make it an engaging film. As an impassioned bowler recently ex- of the UK, I was disappointed. It didn't even make me want to go bowling, which is really the best compliment any special-interest activity film such as this could be paid. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
