Sebastian? (Spoiler)

I just saw this movie in French without subtitles on the Camerimage Festival and I didn't really get the story between Sebastian and Celine. What did he tell her when she was sitting on the bed? And why did the mother say at the end that she doesn't regret anything?

Sebastian told her that he was the boy she saw naked at her father's office that memorable day.
However, I do not get the end too. Maybe, as my friend thought she just hated him anyway.
I thought, that maybe it was not the first time she saw him with some boy.

The mother was rotten with bitterness, she lived her life hating her husband, in other words-she had spend her life in hell, and at the end, after finding out she was mistaken and it all could have been prevented, she declined the possibility of being saved. In other words, what we see is that she had actually been in hell out of her free will the entire time. And this is very much in accordance with the Catholic Dogma: people are not condemned to stay in Hell for eternity, they actually choose it. Hell according to the Catholic faith is nothing else but life without God, and one rejects God out of his/her own free will.

I didn't saw that film, but a friend of me say that the only good guy in the story is the father. Because he helped the kid (sebastian). I mean he tried to help him and went in jail for something he didn't do, just to protect the kid. Doing so, his wife got a wrong idea of him (or was happy to have an excuse to get a wrong idea of him). And I've heard too, at the end, we saw the last sequence (Sebastian as a Kid nude) but with a small (but big tough) detail which make understand everything. What has really happen.

I thought she had distanced herself and the girls from their father because she wanted to protect them and despite her being wrong and despite their hurt, she didn't regret it and would have done it again if it meant she'd be able to protect them from someone who (she thought) was a monster.

She must had hated her husband long before she saw him with Sebastien. It is a deep hate, the basic and ultimate feeling that is beyond rational. That is why she can't regret, if she didn't hate him so much she wouldn't have to spend most of her life in a wheelchair, but she doesn't regret it, she thinks this price is worth paying just because she was able to express her malice making him suffer.
