It was king of strange at the end of the movie how Tyrese's character knew that Terrance Howard's character (Green) was killed by his partner. How did they know that? There was no evidence or anything leading up to this amazing discovery.
shareTo be fair I missed it myself the first time. After they defend the house from Sweets men, just before Green tells them it was self defence, the following dialogue takes place:
Green: Well, I got me a dirty uniform I gotta deal with first.
Bobby: What?
Green: You see, Evelyn filed a report that got passed on to Victor Sweet.
Bobby: By who?
Green: Look, I just got something I...
Bobby: Don't *beep* me, Green. Who are you protecting?
Tyrese: Your boy Fowler?
Green: Look, Fowler's my problem! I'll deal with him. And then we get Sweet.
Green knew it was Folwer when he looked at the surveillance tapes of Evelyn making her report and spotted it was to Fowler. When Fowler failed to mention it Green suspected him of being bent which he got out of him in the pool hall.
Good guys may not finish last but they sure as sh*t don't finish first!
I actually wondered the same thing. I guess it was pretty easy for him to put two and two together since Green's death happened probably the same night he told the brothers he had to confront Fowler.

They knew his partner was crooked so it wasn't to hard to put things together.
What are words for when no one listens anymore
They really should have been cops they solved their own mother death quicker than the cops.
shareTo be fair the cops have a truck load of cases to deal with and have to follow certain protocols. The guys were able to give their full attention to their Mothers murder and used methods that were well beyond the confines of the law.
There's a moral to this story Del Boy but for the life of me I can't find it!
