like wtf? this is just a low budget version of the OC.
it will never be as great as the OC.

shareIt isn't on OC rip off, the only reason it gets called that is because it is canadian... if anything it is more identical to South Beach.....which began airing at the same time as falcon beach (I've watched both.....Falcon beach is soooo much better.) Besides, if we are calling shows ripoffs then we really can't discus Falcon beach by itself because first of all...every single one of these shows is a rip off of Beverly Hills 90210....the OC has become the 90210 of the 21st cetury it's the same story....just a new generation of it... shows need to have something new and exciting and truthfully, OC has less of it that Falcon Beach....before someone flips out at me, what I mean by this is that The OC sort of ignores sports altogether....Falcon beach has wakeboarding... and any show that trys something new, like bringing in a new kind of sport is pretty amazing. Wakeboarding is a HOT sport...and it's hard...it's cool that it is being noticed! Okay...so yes I love Falcon beach, that doesn't mean I hate the oc...I actually really like it, i'm just saying, give falcon beach a chance, it's really good, and it may be similar...but it has just enough new stuff in it to make it worth watching

shareactually...90210 was ripped off of degrassi (the older version/generation...canadian show) by aaron spelling. he wanted to buy the american rights to degrassi but the canadian producers wouldnt sell because they were proud to be canadian...so everything seems to be a "ripoff" of something.
