I absolutely loved this movie! It was well done and well written, the flashback scenes confused me only slightly, but still damn good. Any other movies like this that I might enjoy?

Aside from the wooden acting and the stale direction, there's nothing
wrong with this movie.

If you're looking for a queer theme film with a little depth try High Art, Happy Together, Beautiful Thing, or Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

I thought this film was great. Yes, the acting was a bit wooden, but the overall film was excellent. I loved Remigio and the fact that he stood by Ethan no matter what. I also liked the fact that Ethan's father came to grips with his son at the end. Who I didn't like was the wicked stepmother.

Lan Yu http://imdb.com/title/tt0292066/ is probably the best gay asian movie I ever seen.

The movie as a whole wasn't as interesting to me, but I really enjoyed the character of Remigio
