Moretti helps us to see...

Films with political themes always seem to bring out the worst in people. I have yet to see Il Caimano, and probably won't until it is available on DVD, but I do own four other Moretti films. (Palombella Rossa, Aprile, Caro Diario and La Stanza del Figlio.) Without seeing his latest film, I know that inevitably he will help us to see with new eyes. Whether you agree with his conclusions or not should not dissuade you from entering into a dialogue with Moretti. Agree with him, disagree with him. Just engage him.
