Terrible at the box office
8 mil opening weekend? jeez that's nothing for one of these little kid CGI movies.
shareIt's not always about money. Yes, in Hollywood it is, but this movie is great. Why not look at the merits of the MOVIE and not how much it made. I will say this...the title is AWFUL.
shareI seem to recall two CGI movies coming out within weeks of Ant Bully's release day (i can't remember the titles).
Also, there was a TERRIBLE onslaught of CGI movies in 2006....I think Ant Bully was one of the ones that got lost in the plethora. A shame too cause it was good.
True, you can look at its merits, but I'm sure WB & Legendary Pictures aren't putting this film on their resumes being that it LOST them money!

Thanks Gburc, I remember taking my son to a lot of movies that year...going to see Monster House in Digital 3D was a no-brainer...its probably why I didn't get to see Ant Bully in IMAX.
