Why the fudge is that child half naked throughout the entire film? What is this? It's filth. He's even naked at one point in the trailer. The cinema will be filled with dirty child molesters.

Okay, take a deep breath. Our hero, Lucas, is only naked during a small portion of the movie, during the sequence in which he is magically shrunk to ant size and taken into the colony as a prisoner. That covers perhaps five minutes of screen time at most. And of course the "nudity" is of the "G" or "PG" rated kind (the film isn't rated yet), which means there's nothing "filthy" about it--to a rational mind anyway. You see, when one gets shrunk to ant size, one's clothing--or in this case, underwear--does not shrink at all, hence the resultant nudity. Shrinking underwear would just seem unrealistic, don't you think?
c'mon remember that rugrats movie..;.that had nudity in it, you see their butts for like ten minutes

First of all, I think you have your mind in the gutter. A naked cartoon character? Big deal, and I doubt it even showed anything revealing. Nudity is not the end of the world. Its just a human body. Why are people so afraid of their own bodies?
Now, I do agree with one point, as a mentioned in another post. The movie industry does seem to have some twisted obsession with animated movies about little boys in loinclothes. Between young Tarzan series and the Jungle Book Series and the one about the cave boy saving his mom and that one with the indian boy... something is wrong there. And this whole theme is getting old fast!
Funny how you never see girls in these roles huh? Not that I want them to make girls running around in nothing but loinclothes, but why do all these adventure movies always feature boys?
When I saw the preview in the theater, a couple kids in front of me kept giggling and going "He's nekkid, he's nekkid!" I doubt it was sexual to them. At that age, I think nudity is just funny.
As for adults, I'm not sure what you're worried about. Granted, I'm sure a handful people will get off on this film because of the partial nudity. However weird that may seem, though, I don't see how it harms anyone. I doubt this movie will somehow transform normal, healthy adults into child molesters. Also, it definitely won't provide a special opportunity for real child molesters; if they want to seek out innocent kids to prey on, they can do that at any kids' movie.

At any rate, you're an idiot, and exactly the type of person that has other countries of the world laughing at just how prudish our nation has become. And I say "our" nation with minor trepidation, because I'm not really sure I want to wrap my mind around the concept of you and I sharing the same circle of land surrounded by ocean.
I just saw the movie and the nudity is fuzzy and you dont even see a butt crack on his butt. They creatively hid that area in the movie as he is naked.
