The film just played in Perth, Australia

As part of the defined REVELATION FILM FESTIVAL - 'Amazing Grace' played to a hearty audience who applauded greatly upon credits.
It was a wonderful film, but I can't help thinking that Mary G. had a finger in the creative pie and eventual final print. As Jeff was martyred a little too much.
Yes, he was talented beyond definition and had unique ability but I felt it was too much a portrait of select design.
Those who knew Jeff would validate that he had his demons and addictions but that would probably play havoc with his death which was a simple accident.
Aside from the diversion of his non musical life, this is still a beautiful portrait of a soul gone too soon.
