I don't know if this has been mentioned here previously...

The 3-D movie they were playing prior to busting out Murdock had as one of its opening credits "REGINALD BARCLAY" who was played by none other than Dwight Schultz on Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Oh cool i didn't know that!, I saw he was the German doctor that was giving the electric shock treatment only.
