Which way to Berlin?

When the tank comes up out of the lake and Murdock asks the hausfrau "which way to Berlin?", that scene is a spoof/homage of an old movie about WWII and the Allies on the way into Germany -- camera angle, tank going uphill, line, everything. My guess is the original was made in the 1960s, maybe early 70s. Can anybody identify the original for me?
