Maybe I'm easily pleased but this scene goes down as one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Sharlto Copley was amazing as Murdock and what really made this movie so charming and watchable for me.
Anyone else think so?
It's a favorite for a lot of people.
shareJust watched this movie with my boyfriend, and BURST out laughing at that part, while he mildly chuckled. So it looks like I'm in the same "easily pleased" boat as you..lol. Just one of many funny lines from him!

shareI don't get why people thought Copley was a good Murdoch. He wasn't nearly crazy enough. Jim Carrey does a better Murdoch by just being himself in his movies. Actually a lot of the casting felt off.
shareI can't stand Carey, he's annoying. Copley was a great Murdoch, he can do accents as well as Schultz, in addition to stealing scenes just as well.
Something to keep in mind, Schultz ad libbed most, if not all of Murdoch's lines for the first 3 seasons because he felt the writers didn't have a handle on the character.
Haha I just saw that scene and thought it was funny.

Women think Copley was terrific. The TV series was made for men. The movie was made for women.
