How did Shakespeare in Love win over Saving Private Ryan?! I'll never understand it. And as much as I love Titanic, I think Good Will Hunting was the better movie. And I loved Jerry Maguire. Can't remember who won that year. And I love Forrest Gump, but I loved Pulp Fiction as well, so that's hard for me

One, how can anyone believe Saving Private Ryan was more deserving to win than The Thin Red Line.

Or how anyone can believe Gladiator deserved it more than Traffic.

Or how anyone can believe A Beautfiul Mind deserved it over ANYTHING.

Same deal with CHICAGO.

And I guess I'm the only one who found The Aviator to be a more cinematically and intellectually rewarding experience than Million Dollar Baby.
