Where was the Douglas clan? And other comments...

This is totally unrelated to anything else you have been discussing (and I do completely agree with the Eternal Sunshine supporters), but usually either Kirk or Michael Douglas appears at any given awards show, and this time that didn't actually happen. Anyone have any idea why? In other news...Robin Williams' acceptance speech was awesome, and Hilary Swank's was, um, not. Is anyone surprised? Also, Desperate Housewives won way too many awards, and Finding Neverland won way, er... not enough. This is all I have to say.
