cancelled?

why was it cancelled? i never watched it but who would make a better female president than geena? no one right? that question is rhetorical. because no one would. it looks like a good show i wish it would have stayed on

You partially answered your own question when you said you never watched it, neither did a lot of other people.

ABC is notorious for starting excellent shows (CIC, Daybreak, V, etc.), scheduling them on a Roulette wheel (where it stops, nobody knows), and they also have a reputation for phasing established shows out of existence (Scrubs, Drew Carey) I spend one hour a week on ABC these days, REVENGE on Wed nights. I'm not getting tooooo invested however, cuz I know ABC will dump this show too, without warning, without fanfare, and without showing the last few produced episodes. ABC sucks rocks!

This was a fine show with a LOT of TALL actors lol.
We liked it and watch every ep having more then one VCR or DVD does help, more so as I was working nights at the time.
I'm a fan of Geena and many of the others on this show.
Never could understand ABC's policy on certain shows.

It was a rating winner when Rod Lurie was the show-runner (producer). For reasons I haven't been able to pin down he left the show and ABC inserted Steve Bochco (of NYPD Blue fame) at the helm which reflected in the show's quality which in turn resulted in rating plummeting which in turn brought on ABC's cancellation.

Just watched this not long ago and I have to say that I enjoyed it. Goes without saying that it's not a patch on West Wing but I'd of liked to of seen Mac fight for reelection in a second season.
