Two Dimensional

My problem with this show was that it boiled down a weekly Mac vs Templeton story line and he always lost. None of the characters around them were given enough to do so you didn't get the ensemble powerhouse that drove The West Wing so successfully.
A example would be Natasha Henstridge's character who was briefly interesting as a lobbyist but very quickly returned to polished, nasty & boring as the senators chief of staff.
I liked the series and I really like Gena Davis but I'm not sure I would have stuck with a 2nd season.
