Yeah...contraception could solve most of these 'problems'.

I mean it's not like we are running out of people in this world or in America or Utah or Ohio or any of these places.

Unless you are 100% certified "great" with kids...of ALL kinds these people should really stop at 1 or 2. 3 is the absolute limit if you aren't having a perfect time with the first 2 and even that should be an 'accident' in the 'family planning' department. After that you have no one to blame but yourself. Take planned parenthood classes and get a PHD in contraception or something, but please...stop the madness. I have nothing against big families if you are well off and doing super excellent with them, but what is the motivation of keeping going and going and going?....especially if things weren't hunky-dory with he first ones. To see if the 'next' ones will come out better?

What are these people thinking? There was the single father in Alaska with 4 children...then his wife left him. Please check with your spouse after the first and/or second kid, dude. Actually preferably check with her continually from the start of the marriage, but at the first sign that things could even possibly end in separation STOP PROCREATING!

And the family where the first daughter in a four daughter run was born with cerebral Palsy. Is it because you are rich and well off you think...well we will just keep going to make up for what we lost with the first. B.S.! Stop just stop. One more maybe, but if you can't devote enough time to the rehab of the first daughter...just stop. Don't wait for Jo to come around and help you out. Just stop.

Or, I mean it's nice if you have a well paying job and can live out in the boonies and your wife can be a stay at home mom. I'm happy for you, but unless you went into the marriage seeing your prospective bride work with kids and having a swell and competent time with 3 or 4 unruly ones at a time just stick to one or two. Especially if your longhaul trucking job leaves her alone to deal with your progeny.

Okay, it's out of my system. I'm done now .

Get yer cursor off my spoilers !

agree!! i'd like to understand how in this day and age is it possible to have "accidents" did no one tell these people once u have sex ,kids are a possibility not an oops/accident/unplanned event!!!

it breaks my heart to see gay people, or hetero for that matter who have fertility problems crying their heart out coz they can't have kids/not allowed to have kids and try/fight so hard for yrs sometimes to win that right or make that egg work somehow
and then u turn on MTV and u see these teenagers having kids and 99% are single mom or dad is bummed and overwhelmed by situation !

around me its single moms galore, guys are loosers, unable to take responsibilty for their actions and putting up with the consequences of sleeping around! it makes me wish that there was someway to implement a moratorium on child birth for five yrs, heck even a yrs would do wonders for school crowding, and world overpopulation!

and really if u still want kids limit yourself to 2! what i can't forgive is women who have lots of kids when they know it will absolutely be a financial struggle of epic proportion for the next 18yrs esp when the father waltzes off like a thief in the night! its all cute to say u wanted a lot of kids but how fair is it to them to have them struggling from the get go and being deprived of basic stuff because mommy couldnt help herself!

Whereas I totally agree, you ain't seen nothin' until you come to the Bronx and see all of them stuff themselves in a two bedroom apartment!

They complain that they don't have money to pay for the simplest of school supplies and even food, while wearing $300.00 Jerseys (not an exaggeration) and gold teeth shining from their mouth.

They all complain that they can't some to the school to pick up their sick child (they have to work!) but they CAN stand outside the church for three hours and wait for free food... Working? I don't thinks so!

I'd better stop now before I piss myself off even more! :)

You're laborers, you're supposed to be laboring! That's what you get for not having an education!!

I agree to an extent... I know alot of people tend to get wrapped up in thinking that kids are such a blessing and all that, so having a huge family is ALWAYS a sign of success and happiness, etc.. in my opinion.. if you can't handle your kids, a huge family is a failure.

I have a friend who has one kid, and unfortunately her kid is a spoiled monster brat! He's a terror, and she knows it so she has decided not to have anymore right now, lol. I have another friend however who has 4 kids and they are all sweet angels. She's pregnant with her 5th right now and everyone's happy! haha
