I don't speak Spanish myself, so I never noticed any problems since, for some reason, no one decided to subtitle the words. Either sub the Spanish, or translate the Spanish into English and sub that... I don't really mind heading to Google Translate to find out what something translates to. The producers apparently just assumed that everyone understands every language (Spanish most frequently, but also French and Chinese and I've only just started season 2) and thus didn't give English translations for anything. It's annoying for someone that doesn't speak the language; as one example, shortly after Bob found out about Gamelan's malignant histiocytosis, he and Carlos are working on something in the lab in that... I don't know what it's called, it's a container in which specimens can be placed and worked on safely, the one with the big black built-in gloves. Anyway, Carlos says something to Bob in Spanish, Bob hesitates for a moment and responds in English with something like "Yeah. My burden is Gamelan." and then he just continues his conversation. I don't like shows that treat the viewer like an idiot, but I find it just as annoying when they treat the viewer like he knows everything.
Sorry... I apologize for the mostly off-topic post and the rant.
I have no enemies, but am intensely disliked by my friends.
