Anyone who comes from dysfunctional middle-class family can relate

Actually, more like my DH's family.
If a child complains about a parent, they change the subject.
Parent very pushy, child tries to be accomodating, parents ignore child, child ends up doing what they really didn't want to do, parent takes no responsibility for their role in helping/bullying/browbeating/encouraging child to make the decision and if you try to make them responsible, they just angrily remind you that they put food on the table.
Mother overbearing because hubby is working all the time, you end up an anxious, prozac popping wreck.

Great film! Puts many frustrating emotions into words.

I agree, I think this film represented all angles of a dysfunctional family in a realistic yet amusing manner. No one was really made the villian of the piece here and I liked that. It takes more than one family member to cause dysfunction and this film made that clear.

You said it best.... While watching the movie I called my sister and told her she had to see it too.
