What's MISANDRIST supposed to mean?

I think it means "Manhating."

Some people don't like it when men are shown in a bad light. Of course if you dare to show men in a bad light you are a female sexist pig right? WHATEVER!!!

Yeah, there are some dirty dogs in this movie. OF course that is all fiction. Real life men are all knights in freakin' shining armour. they never cheat on their wives or do anything bad.

Zebra has obviously never read any of Maeve Binchy's other novels. It's a recurring theme -- at least one male character who is a complete a**hole and a female charater who has to learn to let him go and move on. Either you love it or you don't get it. Personally, I love her books :-)

I saw only 2 men who were philanderers but 3 women who with full knowledge, slept with a married man. One with her best friend's husband. I guess that means the film was misogynist.

Well, if you're honest with yourself, some of the men are very worthy of disliking. I was only 17 minutes into the film when Danny said, "Oh, please, don't tell them. It'll cost me a fortune. I already have to pay for two households!!" Did Danny never stop to consider whose fault it was that he was having to pay for two households? HE messed around on his wife and got his girlfriend pregnant!!! Why didn't he just stick to the vows he made on his wedding day and TRY to work at continuing to be/fall in love with his wife? He let his gonads make the choice for him and--to be honest--that is sad AND is his fault. Just a few moments after he said the above, he said "What a mess!" He made the mess. He made the bed, so now he has to lie in it. He is a very unlikable character, to be honest. Haven't seen the rest, though. Maybe I'll dislike the women by the end, too. So, I'll be a misandristic and misognynistic person all in one.
