horrible acting

I know man, I can't believe the actress that played the Detective got the part. Probably had relation with director/casting director. Either way, Olmos didn't have enough part, and when Sizemore is on screen is the only indication I knew I wasn't watching a b-movie film.

That Latino detective can't act for *beep* She really did ruin the movie for me.

Agreed, the female lead was quite bad.
