Inside Her Tent
Did anyone notice that there was somebody else in her tent that moved quickly out of the way of the camera when she came into the tent?

no, didn't notice that (ha ha) but i did notice that when the "bad" guys were up at night talking secretively, the outside shots showed that all four tents were lit from the inside. then when the camera cut to inside nicki eggert's tent, her tent was dark. outside, again: lit. inside again: dark. and so on. nice job, script supervisor!
I love this film.
You will find that Curt actually dug underneath the ground where the tents were set up and he had buried advanced lamp bulbs that he could turn on and off at the switch of a button. This button was on what looked like a twig (see scene where he is looking mysteriously into the camp fire and twisting said twig).
There are no faults with this movie at all. Everything is set up how it is meant to be. You just need to be able to see between the lines, hence the title "What Lies Above" is really a question, a metaphor for "What really happened here?" and ultimatly "How did the universe begin?".
