Hi! I went to Nashville to see this movie (and do other stuff, of course). The movie was filmed in nashville. When I was riding in the car, I noticed the walking bridge over the highway and a block of apartments that looked exactly like the ones in the movie. Could that be?
If anyone know if it was filmed on-location, that would be great. It was cool seeing it.
Yes, the film was all shot in Nashville. Much of it was shot down by the J. Henry Hale Projects which have just been bulldozed. The talent was all local too, including many who had never acted before, people from the Union Rescue Mission, etc. I was lucky enough to get to work on it. It was an awesome experience and something for Nashville to be very proud of.
