I hated it!

Don't go on this ride if you're claustrophobic at all. When we were "taking off" I almost screamed "get me out of here, get me out now!" They warned about that sort of thing but I thought I had grown out of my childhood claustrophobia. Not so! I went on every coaster Disney and Universal had including The Rockin' Roller Coaster, Space Mountain, The Incredible Hulk, Dueling Dragons (sat in front too on both of those) and loved them all. This ride however almost did me in. Never again!

hehe was realistic atleast

That's for sure!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course for people that don't suffer from claustrophobia like I do I'm sure it's great.

reply

I love the ride, but i can see what you mean, it must be awful if you have claustrophobia.

reply

i HATED this ride. when you were taking of was horrible!!! my dad threw up on that ride! but i didnt. other wise it was a great ride!!!

reply

I have been on the ride four times and enjoyed it every time. In fact last year I managed to get on twice within 30 minutes!!!!

reply

I rode it3 times in a row.

reply

realistic, there flashing buttons in front of you, and if you don't press them, they press them for you, it should like make you crash.
I went on this when it first came out, 3 Hour wait (i had a fastpass though), and it sucked, worth the 15 minute wait, definately not 3 hours

Four times in a row, Best ride in Epcot in my opinoin.

Where would I be without your arms around me?

reply

i rode it 5 times.

I typically do not go on rides, but I was conned into going on this one....I loved it, not only that I went on it repeatedly. I like it because of the intensity and realness.

Movies take up 1/3 of my life. The other two parts are xbox and television.

Loved it! I'm a big space geek, and that was one of the best rides EVER! WAHOO! I loved it... loved it loved it loved it. Ok... now I'm done.

P.S. Did you know 4 astronouts rode this ride when it first opened and they said it was one of the most realistic space rides they had ever been on.

reply

I'd have to say the best part of that ride was either the take off or the slingshot around the moon..

Took my 3rd trip in a row to Orlando this November/December. This time I went with my 29 year old daughter and 9 year old granddaughter. Since I refuse to ever go on Mission Space again, they went on it while I went on Test Track for the 3rd time. My daughter hated it as much as I did (but then we could only get her on Expedition Everest once and I love that ride). However, my granddaughter loved it. It is #4 on her list of favorite Disney rides (after Expedition Everest, Rockin' Roller Coaster, and Tower of Terror with Soarin' number 5). So maybe you just have to be fairly young and not claustrophobic to like that ride.

Never mind best ride in epcot; BEST RIDE IS DISNEY! PERIOD! (everest is in close second)

reply

i ate gummi bears during it

We rode the "More intense" part again and again because there was no wait. On the third time i wanted to see what they meant by don't lean forward or look around while the ride is moving... I definitely understand now! When you are spinning, if you look around and try to lean forward it becomes very difficult to keep your center of gravity. I had to sit down for a minute or so to make sure i didnt stumble around like a crazy drunk

We were somewhere around Barstow when the drugs began to take hold

This ride is definately the best ride at Disney World in my opinion. I rode it five times during the course of my stay at WDW. The wait times were not very long at all during the evening hours. Very realistic simulator!

I have been on this ride sooooo many times, and i have to defend it...its amazing, and it does have warnings in the queue and the pre-flight video, so it's up to the rider if they wanna risk it or not.

from Scrubs: Turk - "Delor En El Asno" means pain in the ass, i thought it would help when you introduce yourself!
