latest update on the lawsuit by the Chalet?

I thought the DP reached too much by asking for co Director credit since he was given a shot list by the credited director. Then again, the US version supposedly reedited the movie to disregard the original director's vision. So maybe, a co director credit is not so unreasonable.

Having said that, the behavior of the original director has been awful. Not only did he and the production company force Chalet to sign an unreasonable renegotiated contract so that he could get his check, Chalet's stories of hardship were coopted by the director at public appearances where he would pretend to be the guy who stayed in Antarcica for most of the shoot and then he would pretend Chalet's personal life problems post-shoot were his own.

It's weird that googling this lawsuit does not turn up a single update after the lawsuit was filed in 2006.
