"Apparently, human beings should probably have never or not much contact with Emperor penguin chicks, so I don't think it is in our intincts (DNA) to think that these babies are cute (maybe good for dinner)."
"It's funny you say that because I find emperor chicks a hundred times cuter than a human baby. Yeah that is pretty unnatural. I wonder if there are certain animals feeling the same."

i should just point out that it IS natural for humans to find penguin chicks (and most of baby animals as well) cute, because their bodily structures and behaviours remind us of our own babies - big eyes, large heads, short round faces (beaks), stout bodies, short limbs, staggered walk, and all sorts of other things that we unintentionally find cute.
cuteness of babies (specially noted on those animals that tend for their children) is an ancient survival weapon, evolved by natural selection to trigger nurturing responses on the adults, in order to save the baby's life.
and i agree, i've seen wayyyy too many human babies and none beats a penguin chick in the scale of cuteness! XD
perhaps i have a thing for animals that start walking soon after birth, for i love bird's chicks and horse's foals more than puppy dogs and human babies... :|
