Amazing Movie, But Too Short
Visually, this film is just impeccable. The story is compelling, the characters, and the actors all very convincing. The actress who plays Fariba, in particular, gives a sensitive, yet intense performance, and the chemistry between her and the actress who plays Anne is great.
There were a few scenes that reminded me of Boys Don't Cry, with her interactions between the "hick" men, the unpeeling of the bandages from her chest, and the brutal ending that although didn't lead in tragedy, definitely triggered similar fears.
I wish the film was longer, and there was more screentime for Anne and Fariba. I don't think I could get enough of the two of them.
