Magnificent

If you appreciate history, marvel at cinematography, and adore being taken away by cinema, you'll find yourself respecting this film tremendously. It is not a fast-paced film to watch anytime you want. It must be approached with much patience and a very open mind.

For many people, this film moves along incredibly slowly. I myself found my mind wondering away during certain sections. But then there are sections where the cinematography, choreography and escapism, three elements of cinema I cherish, are absolutely fantastic.

While it's not a film I can pop on when my friends are over, it is indeed a slice of cinema I consider unique and amazing, and there is no way I'm not adding this to my collection of highly respected achievements in the world of film.
