yeh, there’s a shot on the third floor of the fine arts building by the cinema office, which i guess is suppose to be the UCLA film school, and also a couple shots on the ground level cafeteria in which you can see the Mexican restaurant in the background. I guess since he had such a low budget he was forced to shot most of the stuff in SF and kinda faked it. I thought it was funny, especially when he was suppose to be Italy and walking around the streets at night and you can see the SF "no parking anytime" signs in the background.
