i cant believe this guy is for real.

what a selfish a-hole. i caught this movie on stars last night and could not believe that there actually would be an audience for it. this guys biggest problem is that he believes that he is so much more unique and intellegent than everybody that he has the right to do whatever he feels like doing. he has fantasies and desires like anybody else, but acts as though he is the only one who has ever fantasized about promiscuous sex. if this is a truely acurate portrayal, then this guy is possibly the most self abosorbed person in the world. also, this movie totally sucked in almost every way possible.

i agree. i saw it on showtime the other night and i thought it was really, really terrible. i felt bad for the actresses he convinced to be in it. you could tell how great the guy thinks he is through the whole thing.

he was an addict, he doesn't think that he's god.

This movie totally bites the big one. Degrading for women and also- he's a terrible screenwriter. Really a giant piece of *beep*

Mrs. Robinson,... this conversation is getting a little strange...

i disagree. sexual fantasies are very private for the most part, and i think a lot of people do feel isolated, particularly when their fantasies are uncommon or not openly discussed. as for him being self absorbed, well...most people are, they just hide it in order to be accepted. he is simply being honest about his thoughts and desires.

i'll go out on a limb here, and admit that i've experienced a lot of what he portrayed. despite the low production values, the film is honest and poignant and if nothing else provides a very accurate psychological view of sexual addiction.

I cannot understand his desire to be truthful all the time. Come on now, you cannot always tell the truth, especially in the beginning with his first wife all the women walking around. I was a 110 percent sure that was going to take its toll and her it was so obvious. What strikes me more is how the the professional help that he got was no use to him at all since he still continued his debauchery with the hookers. I cannot blame the movie for being crappy since it was based on his life.
