obviously since this movie has the EXACT SAME title as one of the most popular games ever, which has rumors floating around it about becoming a movie, some people searching about that movie are going to find it... and obviously the game has more interest surrounding it than this movie, so why are you so bothered by other peoples posts?

Above poster watches anime and Transformers. Group up, idiot. Independent film is a mixed bag. There is a lot of garbage (like this movie), but there's also a lot of meaningful, brilliant films. They aren't picked up by a studio not because they aren't good enough, but because uneducated, uncultured morons like yourself won't flock to go see it like they would a Michael Bay explosion fest.

The independent film part is right though it is a mixed bag, however from what ive seen of independent films it reminds me too much of modern art in other words, toss, id prefer to see a michael bay film, theyre far more entertaining and fun to watch then an independent film, but dont just have them for liking a director who's films are below average, that person might like some very good films for all you know
ive done media A level and have to say independent films dont really mean anything to me there annoyingly uninteresting and by saying "you dont understand it thats why its boring" means nothing to me, if i didnt understand something i watch it over and over again, Matrix Reloaded the Architecht scene, Ghost in the Shell 2, independent films to me are just modern art which sucks
why should peeps go and flock to see an independent movie which has had no coverage above lets say Terminator 4 which has had a huge amount of coverage, if people dont know about it, it doesnt exist they dont go searching for the newest independent film, because why should they its much easier to go to the cinema and pick out something you know about makes an easy decision

May I ask a question of all you well informed people here who are arbitrarily slagging "independent film" (as if this were some kind of genre of film in the first place).
Did you like Reservoir Dogs? Pulp Fiction? El Mariachi? From Dusk 'til Dawn? practically all of Tarantino's and Rodriquez's films? ALL OF THEM WERE INDIES. How about the original Halloween? Texas Chainsaw Massacre? (again, original). Have I mentioned two or three of your FAVORITE FILMS OF ALL TIME?
Before you ignorant goons start whining "I saw Paramount/Fox/Columbia's logo before those movies!" Those companies simply DISTRIBUTED those films, not financed them.
How about Easy Rider? Faces? almost all of the early Clint Eastwood westerns? Ahhhh...I see, you don't know what you're talking about, do you? But you are taking the side of someone who quotes Megatron...not even the cool ORIGINAL Megatron, but Megatron from Beast Wars...nice...

Try and REALLY pay attention to Ghost in the Shell 2...fantastic film that you obviously haven't paid enough attention to...it makes lots of clean arguments, asks beautiful questions and is informed by some of the same art/film that you are dismissing.
without distribution the film doesnt make a big impact on the industry which yes is a shame because there are a great many films which are good out there but theres a lot of *beep* films too and if people will make a decision between a film theyve heard about and a film that is unknown they will pick the known one its the easier choice cause then you know what your getting yourself into and no you havnt mentioned any of my "favourite films of all time" i regard Tarantino as over-rated a guy with dum luck, rodriquez he's good but he really has only produced b movies popcorn flicks apart from maybe sin city
modern art does suck you ever been to tate modern? there is not one piece of art there that makes me think wow, i went to the picasso museum in spain it wasnt impressive i also went to some art museum in berlin cant remember the name but the older art lets say vermeer stylized are far far better then modern art, its not making generalisations ive studied art i know what it involves ive done art a level which i did an art history on perspective in art, and guess what i didnt do the works of picasso with his specialized several angels of view art work because that work doesnt look like anything to me you think i dont know anything about art your clearly mistaken because everyone i know who has seen the work ive done loved it dynamic paintings are far better then the trash being brought out and called art today erm how about judith scott she isnt an artist not by far that messed up bed by tracy something you cant honestly call that art can you, duchamp my teacher tried to make me link my work to his and honestly there were none
dont try and act as if you know more about art then me, chances are we know the same amount about different artists edward hopper for example my favourite artist his art work is by far some of the best ive ever seen because it shows normal life but in a way that makes you want to think rather then the artist making up a load of BS about his work about "this describes how a person wakes up in the morning" he shows it in the painting itself without having to describe it
