Why did it go to Direct to DVD??
Im wondering?
shareI don't feel it was strong enough for a theatrical release. It ran slowly and the it wasn't that funny. It was a smart film just didn't have the appeal that The Devil Wears Prada and other films of it's type had. I own the film and I'm not surprised that the film went straight to DVD.
shareFrom what I have heard I believe there was other reasons why it went to DVD
But you don't determine why it was sent direct to DVD. That's your opinion, nothing else. I'm sure the studio didn't call you to see how they should release Suburban Girl.
Hey detective, what's your favorite scary movie?

It isn't actually

Part of the problem was that apparently they didn't call anyone about it's release .
Film biz where thieves, pimps run free, good men die like dogs. There is also a negative side.
There were a number of reasons why it didnt get a full release, or even a full preimere. Baldwin's bad publicity at the time didnt help and there was issues with distrubition.
'feed me cock, until i cry.'
The reason that it went straight to dvd was that it was sort of lame.
"check the imdb cast list before asking who portrayed who in movies please"
