Establishing shoot, wide shot, over the shoulder ...

I was thinking about the editing of the fifties. I have always liked old movies and I think there is something comforting about that editing style. I know the youth of today don't have the attention span for such things, but I miss the old style.

I also miss charactor development and good stories.
