how bout this for a sequel

a lsu grad student, studying to be a detective due to his family's murder years before, begins linking a chain of unsolved murders. each murder seems to be a copycat of other local louisiana serial killers that were never caught. somehow, he is lead to the same town from the first film, where he is told about an infamous legend of a man who was posessed by "evil spirits" caused by a snake bite. he is then led to the old house (or what's left of it) of the grandmother from the first film. there, he finds a list of names of men who used the milking ceremony to pass over with a clean soul. he soon discovers that each one of the snakes hold a certain purpose in the ceremony - one for murders, one for thieves, etcetcetc. he then links each murder style to the supposed murderer who was involved in the ceremony. he returns to school with the information. there, whoever was bitten by the "murderer" snake has come for him. later, you find out (somehow) that one of the murderous souls in the possessed body is here to kill the main character, due to him being the only family member left of his murdered family. ONE OF THE SOULS IS THE UNCAUGHT KILLER THAT KILLED HIS FAMILY, HERE TO KILL HIS FINAL VICTIM.
